Brighton Ceilidh Collective present Rant.

Friday 18 February 2020  7.45pm – 11pm.

Please note. Dancing starts at 8.00pm. Friendly caller. Good bar.

Our ceilidhs are for newcomers and experienced dancers alike. Our callers pride themselves on making first-timers welcome on the dance floor. They’ll tell you exactly what you need to do.

Come alone or with friends. Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner for dances that need one. Just stick up your hand and it’s our caller’s job to find you someone to dance with.

It’s important to us that our ceilidhs are inclusive. The people who come to our dances are lovely – at least we think so.

frequently asked questions

Is it OK to come on my own?

Absolutely. Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner for dances that need one. Just stick up your hand and it’s our caller’s job to find you someone to dance with.

What do I need to bring?

It can be hot work, dancing. We always supply water, but it's not a bad idea to bring a bottle of your own to fill. You might also want to bring a change of t-shirt.

I love the idea of it, but I don't know any dances

Don't worry! There are always newcomers in the room. Our callers explain each dance step and each dance before the music starts.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. When you buy a ticket - or tickets - the name of the ticket buyer and the number of tickets you've bought will be on the door. Don't worry if you can't all turn up at once. Just make sure your guest know the name the ticket is bought under and our door staff will tick of the number next to your name.
