10th Anniversary celebration Rant (No. 1) with Louise Wells: Friday 26 April 7pm – 11pm Louise Wells founded Brighton Ceilidh Collective in 2014. Those of you who’ve danced with her will know how much sheer joy she brings to the game.
Family Ceilidh with Nell Howe: Saturday 27 April 10:30am – 12:30pm Our first family ceilidh was a roaring success. Join us for a morning especially created for younger dancers and their families and friends.
An Introduction to Calling: Saturday 27 April 11am – 1pm Ever looked at a dance caller on stage, thought, ‘that looks fun!’? Join caller Heather McAslan in this beginner caller’s workshop and try it out for yourself!
Beyond the Basics: Saturday 27 April 2pm – 5pm An afternoon of “beyond the basics” ceilidh, learning new steps and developing old ones. We will have a go at some of the more challenging dances, explore flourishes and swings to add to your moves, and look at some footwork.
